Case reports and clinical images have traditionally been regarded as supplementary sources of evidence in medical literature. However, in the era of precision medicine, their value has grown significantly. This opinion article explores how detailed case documentation, coupled with diagnostic imaging, plays a crucial role in refining diagnoses, shaping clinical decision-making, and offering insights into rare or emerging diseases.
